Pinkerton assisted U.S. Customs (now Customs and Border Patrol) in developing the C-TPAT guidelines, chaired the U.S. Treasury Customs Operational Advisory Committee (COAC) Technology Sub-Committee, and is currently on the COAC's Supply Chain Security Subcommittee.
